Recognition for Exceptional Service
Inspector [Ret.] John Graham is now in his 60th year as a member of the NSW Police Pipe Band, during which time he has served as both President and Treasurer.
John went with the band as a piper on it's first trip to Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo in 1975 which was nearly 50 years ago.
After so many years of faithful service, especially with the bands committee his involvement has been recognised by the awarding of the Commissioner's Commendation for Service, presented by Commissioner Karen Webb at the Goulburn Police Academy before 200 of the most senior officers in the NSW Police Force.
John was joined by his wife Verity when receiving his medal from Commissioner Webb.
